About The Position

This role is responsible for identifying deficiencies, preparing proposals, and managing customer relationships within the sprinkler service sales domain. The representative will work closely with inspection teams, account representatives, and customers to ensure clear understanding of needs and provide timely solutions. A key aspect of the role involves meeting sales goals, promoting positive customer experiences, and contributing to the company's mission and values.

Requirements

  • Minimum education of High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • General understanding of Microsoft office products.
  • Previous experience with customer service in an office setting.
  • Strong verbal skills and written communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to take direction from upper management.
  • Accurately complete and maintain all paperwork.
  • Demonstrate positive teamwork and ability to be a team leader and mentor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to perform work in an efficient and organized manner and maintain thorough record keeping skills.
  • Ability to professionally communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Sprinkler or Alarm Service Sales experience a plus.
  • Sprinkler or Alarm Inspection experience a plus.
  • RME-I preferred.
  • Strong Technical experience in sprinkler.

Responsibilities

  • Identify deficiencies noted in ServiceTrade and/or Inspection Reports generated from Building Reports or AFP approved inspection reports and prepare proposals.
  • Communicate effectively with Inspection Teams to ensure clear understanding of deficiencies noted and means of correction.
  • Create deficiency proposals as outlined in standard operating procedures.
  • Create service repair related proposals as needed as outlined in standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate deficiency and repair proposals directly with primary service sales account representatives or with customers via ServiceTrade functions, phone, fax and/or email.
  • Assist with emergency service or deficiency inbound calls, including follow up on leads and deficiency proposals to enhance customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed sales budget goals set by service sales manager.
  • Promote a positive ongoing relationship with both internal and external customers and end users.
  • Estimate hard bid contracts and provide a proposal to the customer on the bid date.
  • Conduct job site surveys to ensure the accuracy of the estimate.
  • Prepare assigned reports needed for invoicing (Customer set up sheet).
  • Maintain inspection and service sales log for all deficiency bids exceeding Quality Check and Audit threshold amounts.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with all internal and external customers.
