Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years minimum of documented experience in sprinkler systems
  • RME-I License (Texas Department of Insurance requirement)
  • Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems
  • Ability to read & interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
  • Skilled with hand tools and multi-meters
  • Physical ability to lift/move 50-70 lbs & work in challenging spaces (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, ceilings)
  • Flexibility to work on-call, nights, weekends, and travel as needed
  • Valid driver's license & acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass background & drug test
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learner

  • Backflow Certification
  • NICET Level II Certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of life safety products (and competitive brands)
  • Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices
  • Complete and archive inspection documentation via laptop
  • Make minor repairs and programming changes under supervision
  • Follow a structured inspection schedule and complete assignments on time
  • Read & interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals
  • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
  • Always follow safety guidelines and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
