About The Position

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking an Industrial Sprinkler Service / Installation Technician for their Mobile, AL location. The role involves performing service work and new installations, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction, and building relationships with existing and potential customers. The company employs over 1,200 fire protection professionals.

Requirements

Working knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action systems and deluge systems.
Working knowledge of backflow and minimum knowledge of fire pumps.
Proficient in NFPA 13, 20 & 24 code requirements.
Ability to use trade appropriate tools to perform daily pipe fitting duties efficiently and safety.
Ability to train others to use trade appropriate tools efficiently and safely.
Minimum skills to operate a basic service platform.
Clear background.
Must be able to pass a hair follicle drug test.

Responsibilities

Perform Service work and New Installations.
Maintain a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations.
Build relationships with current customers by delivering on our promises.
Create new relationships with potential customers in a proactive manner, promoting all services.
Troubleshoot wet, dry, pre-action systems and deluge systems, as well as backflow and fire pumps.
Use trade appropriate tools to perform daily pipe fitting duties efficiently and safely.
Train others to use trade appropriate tools efficiently and safely.
Operate a basic service platform.
