About The Position

This role involves assisting a foreman with the installation, service, and troubleshooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems and related equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The position requires learning to interpret project drawings, perform pipe threading and grooving, cut hanger rods, climb ladders, hang pipe, read blueprints, and maintain a clean work area using appropriate tools and equipment. The job also emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, accurate documentation, inventory management, equipment care, production efficiency, customer satisfaction, quality control, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Minimum education of High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience
• Fire Sprinkler installation experience
• Experience cutting steel pipe for new construction or remodel projects
• Ability to take direction from upper management
• Must have valid state driver's license and good driving record
• Self-motivated, Ambitious, Interactive, Communicative, Detail-oriented and Organized
• Demonstrate ability to accurately read measurements from tape or scales
• Basic Math and Reading

Responsibilities

• Assist foreman with installation, service, and trouble-shooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems along with all its related equipment
• Assist foreman with installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
• Learn and use project drawings to accurately and entirely interpret and installation requirement details and layout as needed
• Learn to thread and groove pipe, cut hanger rods, frequently climb ladders, hang pipe, read blueprints, layout, keep clean work area, and use appropriate equipment for any specific job such as tools, lifts, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
