About The Position
The basic function of this position is to install fire sprinkler systems while working under close supervision of a more senior technician or supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School/Vocational training.
- No minimum requirement of professional skills or years of experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug screening.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English.
- Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must be detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Learn/Assist with the installation of fire protection sprinkler systems for commercial application (including piping, valves, and accessories).
- Prepare accurate and timely documentation for work performed.
- Complete monthly vehicle reports and maintain truck inventory to ensure proper response to customers’ needs.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing.
- Ensure a positive customer experience.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
