About The Position

Under direct supervision, assists with a variety of duties in support of conservation education programs of Springs Preserve. Participates in conducting a variety of youth, adult and family programming as assigned. Engages guests of various ages in conservation education sessions, activities and events throughout Preserve venues. Ability to engage program participants of all ages in learning and appreciating lessons of the natural world. Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external guests. The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug screening and a background check. Ideal candidate would have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with guests visiting the Springs Preserve in a fun and engaging manner.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in any field
  • Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Available to work up to 25 hours weekly
  • A valid Nevada driver’s license
  • Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus

Benefits

  • Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 hourly (based on education level)
