About The Position

This internship takes place in the Spring semester, typically beginning in early January and ends in May/June. EveryMind has strengthened communities and empowered individuals through mental health and community support services for more than 65 years. With 200 staff across 27 locations, we deliver programs that make a lasting impact. As an Events intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful organization and promotion of our 5K race event.

Requirements

Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student studying Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Interest in mental health marketing and communications
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Reliable Transportation; will go to regular outreach events

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service experience preferred.
Leadership qualities are desirable

Responsibilities

Assisting with logistics management, including processing and organizing invoices to ensure smooth event operations.
Coordinating outreach efforts by securing materials and recruiting volunteers to help promote the race.
Participating in outreach events by providing on-site support as needed.
Managing cold calls and outreach communications to connect with local organizations and partners.
Helping build and maintain relationships with community groups to maximize event engagement.
