This internship takes place in the Spring semester, typically beginning in early January and ending May/June. EveryMind has strengthened communities and empowered individuals through mental health and community support services for over 65 years. With 200 staff across 27 locations, they deliver programs that make a lasting impact. As an Advocacy Intern, you’ll support EveryMind’s policy and legislative initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in research, analysis, and government relations. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about mental health policy, local politics, and the legislative process while making a meaningful impact. The schedule is flexible, part-time (16-24 hours/week during business hours, M–F). The location is EveryMind Headquarters, Rockville, MD, with hybrid opportunities. You’ll work primarily with the Advocacy Department while also collaborating with program staff across the organization.
