About The Position

The National at Ave Maria Golf Club is seeking a motivated Full-Time Spray Technician to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests. This role offers an opportunity to grow knowledge of golf club operations within Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

Requirements

• No problems wearing spray applicator suites, full face respirators, or chemical resistant apparel.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Perform simple calculations.
• Willing to learn.
• Detail oriented.
• Keep area neat and organized.
• Have or willing to obtain Pesticide Applicators License within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Mix, prepare and apply chemical solutions (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides).
• Keep up with pesticide and fertilizer inventory.
• Keep records of pesticide and fertilizer applications.
• Apply fertilizer and chemical applications.
• Update spray records, inventory and MSDS sheets.
• Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders.
• General upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment.
• Over time be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues.
