About The Position

This position works the line spraying furniture with a variety of finishes: Stain, Lacquer, and Sealer.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years experience in spraying in a factory environment
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently or as a team member
• Ability to read work instructions
• Standing, walking, bending for an 8-hour shift
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects
• Move products from upholstery locations to finished products

Responsibilities

• Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line
• Use spray guns to coat furniture frames, make adjustments to liquid product according needs.
• Perform line changeovers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete pre and post cleaning production run
• Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production
• Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPR in designated areas, confined, space safety, safe chemical handling, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned
