About The Position

Marshall Insulation is seeking a full-time Spray Foam Installer for steady work with opportunities for advancement. The role involves applying high-pressure spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation, conducting jobsite inspections, installing vents and backers, and collaborating with construction teams. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, detailed documentation, and the ability to work in various conditions. The company is part of the Installed Building Products (IBP) family and emphasizes integrity, knowledge, and excellent service.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Work in tight places or in high places
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Climb ladders and scaffolding
  • Frequently bend, twist, and turn the body at the shoulders, waist, and knees
  • Proficient in using a variety of SPF tools and equipment.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of SPF techniques, materials, and industry standards.
  • Lift Certification for Boom Lifts

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough jobsite inspections to determine the best method to proceed with the installation of high-pressure SPF.
  • Apply appropriate SPF material at proper pass depths, strictly complying with all manufacturer specifications.
  • Install vents, backers, and soffit blocking to ensure proper airflow for certain materials that may be installed above.
  • Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to ensure proper coordination and timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and protocols during all SPF operations.
  • Document work progress, including photographs, measurements, core samples, and detailed reports.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members, as needed.
  • Erecting ladders and scaffolds
  • Operate equipment that injects foam insulation by carrying/holding a hose up to 150 feet long and weighing up to 56 lbs.
