About The Position

Connections for Kids is seeking a Teacher Assistant BHP/Ed Tech III for Kittery Academy, a private special education school serving 10 students in grades 7-12 with mental health diagnoses including conduct disorders, anxiety, and PTSD. The Teacher Assistant will work with the lead teacher to implement lesson plans, prepare classroom materials, and assist with class management. This role involves collaboration with licensed clinicians and school personnel to provide instructional support and teach behavioral management skills in a small group setting. The position follows the school day schedule, with time off for school vacations and includes a 6-week summer program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED.
• At least 3 years of postsecondary education, or a combination equivalent to 90 hours of approved study in an educationally-related field.
• Valid driver's license with proof of auto insurance.
• Must be a positive person with a strong work ethic.
