Spotter (Deerfield Beach TS FL)
About The Position
Waste Connections is looking for a safety-conscious Spotter to join our Transfer Station team in Deerfield Beach, FL. This is a full-time, long-term position with a reputable company. The spotter’s main priority is to give clear verbal and non-verbal directions to truck drivers entering the Transfer Station to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow. You will also assist in the Scale House when needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. This position pays $18.50/hr and involves working 45-55 hours a week, with opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a labor type position.
- The ability to continually lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout an 8-10 hr. shift.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating equipment is a plus
- Mechanical ability a plus
