About The Position

HELP KEEP OUR OPERATIONS MOVING SAFELY, SMOOTHLY, AND ON TIME. POLYWOOD® is looking for a Spotter Truck Driver who takes pride in reliable work, clear communication, and supporting a fast-paced shipping environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating equipment, and being a key part of a team that keeps materials and finished goods flowing across our campus. This role plays an important part in supporting the teams who build, move, and ship our furniture every day. By ensuring trailers and materials are in the right place at the right time, you help keep our operations safe, efficient, and running strong.

Requirements

  • Experience operating and moving box trucks in a yard or facility setting
  • CDL certification is not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced shipping environment

Responsibilities

  • Move trailers between docks in Buildings 1 and 2
  • Stage drop pallet trailers in assigned dock locations
  • Transfer yard pallet trailers between buildings for loading and unloading
  • Transport full truckloads of lumber and finished goods between buildings and yard areas
  • Ensure empty shipping docks are stocked with requested trailers
  • Assist with moving full truckloads to and from docks as needed
  • Conduct yard inspections to prevent unauthorized deliveries to receiving
  • Unload foam, bale, and fiber sheet trailers
  • Deliver packages to various departments
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of pallet and trailer yards
