Requirements
- High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
- Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
Responsibilities
- Fabricates finished sheet metal products.
- Installs and repairs various equipment and components.
- Follows blueprints to meet product specifications.
- Calculates material measurements to verify specifications.
- Conducts tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
- Cleans the machines and surrounding areas at the end of the shift.
