Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience with cash transaction.
Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Collect and record bets accurately, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently.
Pay winning wagers according to the correct odds, guaranteeing that guests receive accurate payouts.
Explain betting rules, options, and promotions, addressing any guest inquiries to enhance their experience.
Balance cash and ticket sales daily to ensure all funds are accounted for.
Engage with customers about various betting options, fostering conversations that encourage participation.
Resolve customer disputes or complaints promptly, escalating to a supervisor when necessary.
Assist supervisors in identifying guests with special needs or high-stakes betting patterns to protect company assets while providing excellent service.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious wagering activities.
Adhere to established business processes to optimize speed and efficiency throughout your shift.
