Sportsbook Ticket Writer - Full Time (Nugget Casino Resort)
About The Position
William Hill U.S., America's leading sports book provider, has immediate openings for a Sportsbook Ticket Writer. This role is ideal for individuals who love interacting with the public and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Reporting to the Sportsbook Manager, you will be the face of our retail operation, providing a high level of customer service to both regulars and novice bettors to ensure everyone feels welcome. As an expert in our sports betting options, you will advise and answer customer questions to help them make informed, responsible decisions with their sports wagering.
Requirements
- Provide a top tier level of customer service that encourages customers to come back repeatedly
- Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations set forth by the company and gaming control board
- Become familiar with betting options and engage customers in conversations about them
- Resolve customer disputes/complaints and escalate to direct supervisor when needed
- Be a positive team member and work collaboratively with other team members and leadership
- Ensure all necessary paperwork/documentation is filled out accordingly to company policy and gaming control board standards
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, pull or push 25 lbs.
- Must be able write for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to twist, bend or reach with no significant boundaries
