About The Position
William Hill U.S., America's leading sports book provider, has immediate openings at its sportsbook. This role involves interacting with the public in a fast-paced work environment. Reporting to the Sportsbook Manager, you will be the face of the retail operation, providing a high level of customer service to both regulars and novice bettors to ensure everyone feels welcome. As an expert in sports betting options, you will advise and answer customer questions to help them make informed, responsible decisions with their sports wagering.
Requirements
- Flexible availability
- Basic computer knowledge (Email, MS Excel, internet, etc.)
- Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience in a work setting
- 21+ years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to obtain a gaming license from the Gaming Control Board and other jurisdictions if deemed necessary
- High level of customer service
- Professional presentation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to do simple math
- Understanding and responsibility to adhere to all compliance requirements set for by the company and Gaming Control Board
Nice To Haves
- H.S. Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule: nights, weekends, and some holidays is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide a top tier level of customer service that encourages customers to come back repeatedly
- Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations set forth by the company and gaming control board
- Become familiar with betting options and be able to strike up conversations with customers regarding those options
- Work to resolve customer disputes/complaints and escalate to direct supervisor when needed
- Be a positive team member and work collaboratively with other team members and leadership
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork/documentation is filled out accordingly to company policy and gaming control board standards
