About The Position

Conducts Sports Wagering in a gambling establishment by performing duties such as processing wagers from casino guests. May also be required to perform Off Track Betting duties. Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures. Learns basic tickets and how to condition them, reconditioning each ticket if it is changed. Receives, verifies and records cash wagers of guests. Redeems winning tickets by scanning them, calculating winnings, and paying guests. Maintains accurate ticket and cash transactions, high quality guest service, and guest rapport. Ensures control and protection of company assets. Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record. Requirements

Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 1-year prior experience in working with public in a cash-handling environment.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft programs and other computer software (POS system).
Ability to handle cash accurately.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with management and team members.
Skilled in solving practical problems and dealing with situations where only limited standardization exists.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Skilled in identifying and resolving administrative problems under pressure.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III Gaming License.
Knowledge of Title 31 regulations.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a math test.
Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.
Regularly required to stand; walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Reach with hands and arms. Talk or hear and taste or smell.
Frequently required to climb or balance.
Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 to 70 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
