About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sports Science Instructor to lead after-school classes for students in grades K-5. This role involves teaching the fundamentals of sports science in an engaging and interactive manner. The program runs from October to December, with classes held on Tuesdays from 3:45 PM to 4:40 PM at our West Hempstead, NY location.

Requirements

• Experience in sports science, physical education, or a related field.
• Ability to work with elementary school-aged children (K-5).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Passion for sports and science education.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience teaching after-school programs.
• Background in curriculum development for young learners.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities
