About The Position
The Bozeman Daily Chronicle is seeking a sports reporter to cover Montana State University athletics and a variety of other sports in southwest Montana. The role involves covering events, producing enterprise content, and writing features about athletes and their supporters. This position offers a wide-open canvas to report on diverse sporting events, from national-champion teams to outdoor recreational activities. The Bozeman Daily Chronicle is a digital-first newsroom that also produces five print editions per week plus a sixth E-edition. The reporter will work with a sports editor and partner with the statewide 406 MT Sports team. Much of the work will also appear in the sister paper, the Belgrade News.
