At Driscoll Children's Hospital, our goal is to provide high-quality, efficient care to pediatric and adolescent members of our community. The Sports Physical Therapist plays a key role in delivering exceptional outpatient sports medicine services to athletes and active individuals, with a primary focus on middle school and high school-aged patients. Working in a fast-paced clinical environment, the Sports Physical Therapist evaluates and treats orthopedic and sports-related injuries through individualized, one-on-one sessions. As a licensed therapist, they develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans designed to restore function, reduce pain, prevent future injury, optimize athletic performance, and support a safe return to sport and recreational activities. The Sports Physical Therapist collaborates closely with physicians, athletic trainers, coaches, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care. Through effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork, they help patients achieve their goals and return to the activities they enjoy safely and confidently.
