We are seeking a highly skilled Sports Performance Coach dedicated to developing athletes and delivering measurable results across a wide age and ability spectrum. This role is ideal for a coach who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to engage, motivate, and progress athletes ranging from youth beginners to competitive high school and collegiate performers. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of long-term athletic development principles, experience in program design, and the ability to adapt coaching strategies to meet the evolving needs of each athlete. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or related field (preferred)
  • Nationally recognized strength and conditioning certification (e.g., NSCA-CSCS or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 1+ year of sports performance coaching experience across varied age groups and skill levels
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing effective, results-driven performance programs
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Professional mindset with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement individualized and small-group sports performance programs aligned with athletes’ age, training history, and sport-specific demands
  • Develop structured, progressive programming focused on strength, speed, agility, mobility, and overall athletic performance
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate movement quality, performance capacity, strengths, and areas for improvement
  • Track and analyze progress, making data-driven adjustments to optimize performance outcomes
  • Deliver high-quality, technically sound training sessions that are engaging, challenging, and outcome-focused
  • Apply a variety of coaching methodologies to effectively instruct and develop athletes across ability levels
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on movement quality, injury prevention, and performance progression
  • Foster a disciplined, positive training environment that promotes accountability, confidence, and long-term development
  • Provide guidance on foundational areas such as recovery, injury prevention, and performance habits
  • Support athletes in goal setting, mindset development, and preparation for competitive demands
  • Collaborate with fellow coaches and communicate effectively with parents to ensure a cohesive and aligned development approach
  • Deliver clear, constructive feedback that supports athlete growth and engagement
