About The Position

This part-time position (19.9 hours maximum per week, benefits ineligible) will handle a wide variety of operational activities for the Sports Nutrition Department. The position reports to the Director of Sports Nutrition. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Minimum related experience of 1-2 years
  • Analytical, communication and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree program.
  • Fast learner and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Conduct themselves with the highest degree of professionalism and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Ability to maintain HIPPA confidentiality and adhere to all department and university policies and procedures, as well as the rules, regulations, bylaws, and interpretations of the ACC and the NCAA.
  • Practice safe food handling skills
  • Be able to lift, push, and pull objects up to 30lbs.
  • Be reliable and dependable and accomplishing assigned tasks with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize based on immediate need, to be flexible and possess the aptitude to shift focus quickly while remaining organized and tracking all tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage fueling stations which includes but is not limited to training and managing student interns, manage fueling station daily operations, food inventory, ordering and receiving.
  • Develop educational materials (social media, flyers, TV, etc.)
  • Assist with team meals and catering
  • Assist with gameday nutrition support
  • Perform other duties/tasks as assigned by the Sports Dietitians
