About The Position

Adena Health System is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. This NP or PA will work within a multi-disciplinary clinical setting with a focus on AOSI Express walk-in patients, orthopedic post-op patients and inpatient rounding alongside our orthopedic surgeons. Interested candidates see an average of 30 patients daily. The ideal candidate will be excited to join a collaborative environment with direct access to physicians for review and evaluation, patient-centered NP or PA with a strong clinical foundation and a specialized interest in sports medicine. Experience in Orthopedics and/or Sports Medicine is strongly preferred. Experienced APP candidates with a strong passion for learning this specialty will also be considered. In addition, this person should thrive in a busy clinic setting and be willing to adapt and learn new skills. The selected candidate will have twelve weeks of shadowing and precepted work alongside Sports Medicine Non-Op, Orthopedic Surgeons, and Physician Assistants. He/she will enjoy robust platforms for communications, keeping providers well informed and engaged. AOSI (Adena Orthopedics and Spine Institute) historically has some of the highest provider engagement scores within the Adena Medical Group.

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.
