Sports Medicine - Athletic Trainer

Carenest Health ServicesPocatello, ID
Onsite

About The Position

The Athletic Trainer serves as an integral member of the school’s healthcare and athletic team, working closely with student-athletes, coaches, parents/guardians, physicians, and school administration. Daily availability is necessary to evaluate injuries and illnesses, develop and monitor rehabilitation plans, coordinate referrals and follow-up care, maintain appropriate medical documentation, and assist with safe return-to-participation decisions. ATC is also necessary to provide adequate coverage across multiple sports, practices, competitions, and other school-sponsored athletic activities. Without dedicated full-time coverage, there is an increased risk of gaps in medical coverage and delays in evaluation or treatment of student-athlete injuries. We have an agreement in place that requires us to provide an ATC at each high school.
