About The Position

For over 30 years, this nationally respected sports and golf construction company has been building greens, fairways, bunkers, and championship-caliber athletic fields for football, baseball, and soccer, coast to coast. With hundreds of completed projects and a reputation for craftsmanship that architects and course superintendents specifically request, they run concurrent multi-million-dollar builds across the country while staying lean enough that every Project Manager gets real ownership from day one. This is a full-time, direct-hire position that requires relocation to the Kansas City, MO area and involves up to 70% travel throughout the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering OR 2+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, including regional driving and occasional flights.
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of concurrent projects (10–12) in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to relocate to the Kansas City, MO area.
  • Background check and drug screening required.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent graduates welcome — no construction experience required.
  • Concrete construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Earthwork experience also considered.
  • Experience with a project management software platform is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 10–12 active projects at a time, ranging from $1.3M to $12M and running from 4 months to 2 years.
  • Own the full project lifecycle: schedule, procurement, and purchase orders.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact to architects and engineers, and the on-the-ground liaison to onsite superintendents.
  • Coordinate with the office to keep crews and equipment moving to the right jobsites.
  • Balance heavy planning days in the office with jobsite visits when in the field.
  • Travel regionally and cross-country to project sites.
  • Track daily field notes, progress, and billing in Procore.
