About The Position
Swift Creek Family YMCA is seeking part-time sports camp counselors to help with our summer sports camp program. There will be a multitude of sports such as soccer, basketball, kickball, flag football, floor hockey and dodgeball. This part time position starts at $14.00 per hour. We are asking that all counselors are available 9 of the 11 weeks during the Summer.
Requirements
- Know the basic rules of the sport.
- Work well with young people.
- Be able to multitask.
- Communicate effectively with parents and children.
- Enjoyment of sports, being outdoors, and working with young people.
- Available 9 of the 11 weeks during the Summer.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with specific sports (training will be provided if not).
Responsibilities
