About The Position

This is a full-time position at Jackpot Junction in Morton, MN. The Sports Bar Wait Staff will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling payments. The role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, and involves physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.

  • Previous experience working with the public required.

Responsibilities

  • Recognize and acknowledge guests within one minute of their arrival.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests.
  • Promptly and accurately relay food and beverage orders to Sports Bar bartenders and kitchen staff.
  • Engage in suggestive sales as appropriate.
  • Assume responsibility for assigned section for the entirety of the shift.
  • Utilize proper tray service.
  • Maintain familiarity with service procedures, menus, and seating chart.
  • Accurately and efficiently accept payment and make change.
  • Utilize proper cash handling and control procedures.
  • Operate POS terminal.
  • Perform housekeeping duties in dining room and service areas, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Engage in light food preparation as needed.
  • Perform daily side work as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
