The University of Denver, Student Affairs division is dedicated to supporting students' holistic development through the 4D Experience, focusing on intellect, wellbeing, character, and career design. This division offers dynamic programs and services across the Denver Campus and Kennedy Mountain Campus to foster inclusive communities, promote health and wellness, and cultivate a sense of belonging. The Health & Counseling Center (HCC) is a key unit within Student Affairs, providing medical and counseling services. The Sports and Performance Psychologist is an embedded position within the HCC, jointly funded by the Athletic department, and serves as a liaison to athletics. This role focuses on mental health and performance treatment for student-athletes, including triage, regular counseling, educational programming, ADHD evaluations, and consultations. It is a full-time, 12-month position reporting to the Director of Counseling Services.
