About The Position

DanceBUG is hiring Videographers for our February–June dance competition season. If you've filmed sports, concerts, weddings, theatre or other live events, we'll provide the equipment and teach you everything you need to know about capturing dance. You shoot. We provide the gear, travel and training — and we handle post-production.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Live within approximately one hour of a major airport
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Available for regular weekend travel throughout the February–June season
• Comfortable driving approximately 5–6 hours when required
• Comfortable working long production days
• Able to lift approximately 50 lbs
• Able to successfully complete a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Travel to dance competitions across the U.S.
• Capture live performances using professional video equipment
• Set up and operate camera and livestream systems
• Monitor video feeds and production equipment throughout events
• Work alongside other DanceBUG media team members
• Upload and manage event media
