Sport Clubs Coach II (Women's Basketball)
About The Position
The Sport Clubs Coach II (Women’s Basketball Club) is responsible for the coaching of the assigned Women’s Basketball club(s). This role involves coordinating practices, home and away competitions, and tournaments. The coach must be able to teach a wide array of participants, from beginners to experienced high school and collegiate athletes, and properly instruct fundamentals and technique. Additionally, the coach will assist club leadership with short and long-term goals and a plan of action for the academic year. The position also includes performing other duties as assigned to support the department, division, and university.
Requirements
- Two years’ experience coaching at the youth, high school, junior college or collegiate club level
- High School Graduate/GED
- Effectively communicate with a diverse student population
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Organizational skills
- Experience commensurate with coaching at the collegiate club level
