Under the direction of the A.S./SDSU Competitive Sports Coordinator, the Assistant Coach for the Women's Club Soccer Team will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in directing practices 2-3 times a week. The Assistant Coach will be responsible for collaborating with the Head Coach to create practice plans and team development strategies; run and control team drills alone without assistance; and achieve the enhancement of team skill performance. The position averages 8-12 hours per week and requires availability for evening and weekend hours. The Assistant Women's Soccer Coach is responsible for the enforcement of rules, policies, and procedures as outlined in the Sport Club Handbook as well as all duties associated with coaching a collegiate club program. The successful candidate will be expected to enforce and comply with all policies and procedures established by Associated Students/SDSU, the Sport Club Program, USA Soccer, West Coast Soccer Association (WCSA), and the NIRSA (National Intramural Recreational Sport Association while serving as a positive role model for the program and SDSU.
