About The Position

Full Circle Health is seeking a Institutional Coordinator to support our Designated Institutional Official in leading and growing graduate medical educational programs. The Institutional Coordinator is an important member of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) administrative team, which is essential for achieving and maintaining our robust and varied educational programs. The role will: 1) Support the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) in leadership of all Full Circle Health GME programs. 2) Act as liaison to all Full Circle Health Residency Program Directors, Program Coordinators, Fellowship Directors and Residents and Fellows. 3) Act as a role model for Program Coordinators 4) Support the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required (preferred fields include education administration, healthcare administration or business)
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum seven years of progressive experience in Graduate Medical Education administration, including experience supporting ACGME accredited residency and/or fellowship programs.
  • Deep familiarity with ACGME institutional and common program requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management and process improvement experience.
  • A desire to serve in the arenas of graduate medical education and, primary care for the uninsured, underserved and vulnerable populations of the greater Treasure Valley.
  • Great attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Computer sophistication and ability to manipulate web-based report systems.
  • Ability to plan and organize residency needs and activities, establish work priorities and provide follow through to ensure completion of activities.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to become fully competent in computer programs essential to the Residency program, including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook), the Electronic Residency Selection System (ERAS), Thalamus, New Innovations, National Residency Matching Program (NRMP), ACGME Web ADS; adaptability to new computer applications, programs and tools is essential.
  • Ability to understand and apply regulatory requirements at the residency and fellowship program level.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with administrative personnel, physicians and other program personnel, trainee/prospective trainees, staff and other constituents, in written communications, and oral presentations.
  • Interpersonal skills working with residents and others in an environment of high intensity and stress.

Nice To Haves

  • Teaching Administrator in Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) certification strongly preferred
