About The Position

Sponsored Residential Services (SRS) offers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to live in safe, supportive, family-like home environments. We are seeking individuals who want to share their home and provide care, structure, and compassion to help someone thrive. As a Sponsor, you will operate in your own home, providing daily support and supervision, while receiving guidance and support from CHCG. This is a contracted opportunity for professional caregivers who want to make a meaningful impact.

Requirements

• Own or rent your home (landlord approval required if renting).
• Must meet Virginia licensing requirements.
• Ability to provide stable, supportive care.
• Willingness to undergo training in Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, Human Rights, Behavioral Support, and Person-Centered practices.

Nice To Haves

• Professional caregiver experience.
• Ability to have another job depending on individual needs and approved backup staff.
• Ability to arrange for approved backup or DSP staff for time off.

Responsibilities

• Operate your own home, providing daily support and supervision.
• Provide care, structure, and compassion to help someone thrive.
• Provide guidance on daily care, service documentation, and required trainings.
• Administer medications, provide CPR/First Aid, and adhere to Human Rights, Behavioral Support, and Person-Centered practices.

Benefits

• Paid a daily rate based on the individual’s Supports Intensity Scale (SIS) level.
• 344 billable days per year, paid bi-weekly.
• Time off is allowed with approved backup or DSP staff.
