About The Position

The Sponsor Liaison plays a key role in helping the Spokane County Democrats secure financial and in-kind sponsorships for their upcoming events and ongoing programs. This individual will support outreach efforts to potential sponsors, help develop sponsorship proposals and build relationships with businesses and organizations that align with the mission.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with cold outreach and building relationships.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Passion for the Spokane County Democrats and an eagerness to contribute to its success.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in email, spreadsheets, and/or CRM systems (helpful but not required).
• Previous fundraising, sales, or business development experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential corporate sponsors, foundations, local businesses and individuals.
• Assist in preparing and customizing sponsorship packages and pitch materials.
• Make initial contact with potential sponsors via email, phone, or LinkedIn.
• Maintain a database of sponsor prospects, conversations, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with communication and events teams to align sponsor benefits with deliverables.
• Support sponsor stewardship by helping with thank-you letters, recognition materials, and post-event follow-ups.
