About The Position
Splunk ITIS Consultant Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Splunk Consultant with required certifications in Splunk Core and Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI). This role will primarily focus on the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of a Splunk ITSI environment supporting critical enterprise services. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ITSI architecture, service monitoring, and AIOps-driven analytics to proactively manage system health, reduce operational risk, and improve service performance.
Requirements
- Splunk Core Certified Consultant (required)
- Splunk ITSI Certified / Accredited (required)
- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining Splunk ITSI environments
- Strong experience building glass tables, dashboards, and service visualizations
- Proficiency in SPL (Search Processing Language)
- Experience with KPI creation, service modeling, and dependency mapping
- Knowledge of predictive analytics, machine learning, and AIOps within Splunk
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise monitoring environments
- Background in IT operations, NOC/SOC environments, or service reliability engineering
- Experience with alert tuning, event correlation, and incident management frameworks
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (Python, Bash)
- Experience integrating Splunk with external monitoring and ITSM tools
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and optimize the Splunk ITSI environment to ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise services
- Design and develop custom glass tables, dashboards, and advanced visualizations for service monitoring and executive reporting
- Implement proactive incident response strategies using predictive analytics, threshold tuning, and correlation searches
- Perform deep-dive analysis to identify root causes of service disruptions and implement mitigation strategies
- Map service dependencies across complex IT ecosystems to enable accurate service health monitoring
- Configure and manage KPIs, service trees, and entity relationships within ITSI
- Develop and enforce noise reduction policies to prioritize alerts based on service scoring and business impact
- Integrate machine learning and AIOps capabilities within ITSI to enhance predictive insights and automation
- Align IT metrics with business objectives through KPI development and service modeling
- Conduct ITSI adoption assessments and recommend improvements to maximize platform value
- Design and implement robust response architectures and operational workflows
- Provide expert guidance on analytics best practices and Splunk ITSI optimization
