About The Position

The Splicer plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by ensuring the seamless joining of materials to maintain continuous production flow. This position requires precision and attention to detail to create high-quality splices that meet strict industry standards and minimize downtime. The Splicer collaborates closely with machine operators and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve splicing issues promptly. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with splicing or material handling.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate splicing machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude are essential for accurately performing splices and operating splicing machinery on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain splicing equipment, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.
  • Monitor production lines for splice integrity and promptly address any defects or issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and reduce downtime.
