About The Position

OSO Communications is growing fast, and we’re looking for a skilled Splicer/MDU Technician to join our high-impact team. The Splicer/MDU Technician is responsible for fiber splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and completing MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) installations with accuracy, safety, and professionalism. You will work closely with field leadership to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to OSO’s quality standards.

Requirements

Must have a valid ES7 License (Non-negotiable)
Experience in fiber splicing (aerial, underground, or both)
Ability to work independently and with a team
Strong understanding of safety procedures and industry best practices
Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and splice diagrams
Problem-solving mindset and commitment to high-quality work

Nice To Haves

OTDR and OLT testing experience
Knowledge of MDU layout, cabling, and finishing
Experience with restoration work (concrete/asphalt preferred)
