About The Position
Provides spiritual and emotional support in both our hospice’s inpatient and outpatient patients/families and team members as requested. Applicant must have the ability to provide spiritual support to diverse religious preferences and cultures, and coordinate with other spiritual leaders in the community to meet the needs of terminally ill patients and families.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Theology or divinity, or appropriate certification in hospital or pastoral ministry.
- Valid Alabama driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
- Must have own transportation.
- Must support the philosophy, goals, and objectives of HFC.
- Must be able to provide spiritual support that is non-judgmental and interdenominational.
- Must be able to be open, flexible and ecumenical.
- Must be compassionate and able to communicate effectively.
