About The Position

The Spirit Merchandiser is responsible for assisting in all activities relating to the sales, service, and merchandising of all products sold by Faust Distributing Company (FDC). This role involves ensuring product availability, maintaining quality and freshness, building displays, and fostering professional relationships within assigned accounts. The merchandiser will also monitor competitive activity, promote FDC's business, and act as a relief Sales Representative when needed. Safety is a key component of this role, requiring adherence to all safety training policies and procedures, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and a 'safety first' mindset.

Required to maintain a minimum coverage limit of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 on personal vehicle auto liability and property damage insurance.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all FDC personal conduct, appearance, and retail execution standards.
Ensure the availability of FDC products by restocking all designated coolers, shelves, and displays in assigned accounts; prioritizing FDC non-alcoholic products.
Ensure product quality and freshness by thoroughly and continuously rotating products in accordance with FDC Code Date Policies.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe backroom inventory spaces.
Assist and/or build displays with proper point of sale (POS) to improve the visibility of FDC products and satisfy retail programming needs.
Assist with the receiving of a FDC delivery at assigned accounts.
Develop and maintain productive professional relationships in assigned accounts.
Maintain knowledge of Faust Distributing’s portfolio of Brands and Packages.
Communicate daily objectives with Account Sales Managers (ASM) and team members.
Report vehicular accidents and/or on-the-job injuries to your manager, a member of management, or Human Resources in accordance with the protocol listed in the Faust Employee handbook.
Promote FDC’s business, monitor competitive activity, identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, and report where FDC is disadvantaged.
Adhere to Faust’s safety training policy and procedures.
Conduct all activities with a ‘safety first’ mindset, use all required personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in Faust Distributing Company’s safety trainings.
Be fully prepared for the physical demands of the job and perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner that ensures your safety and the safety of others in your workspace.
Act as a relief Sales Representative for uncovered routes and complete all Sales activities to the Sales Representative standards.
