About The Position

Spine Surgeon specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions of the spine, including degenerative diseases, injuries, and deformities. This role involves both surgical and non-surgical care, with a focus on improving patient mobility, function and quality of life.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of residency in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery
Board certified or board eligible
Active and unrestricted medical license
Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills
Excellent communication and bedside manner
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Attention to detail and precision

Fellowship training in Spine Surgery preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat spinal conditions (e.g., herniated discs, spinal stenosis, scoliosis)
Perform surgical procedures such as spinal fusions, decompressions, and minimally invasive spine surgeries
Develop individualized treatment plans, including non-surgical options when appropriate
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physical therapy, pain management, primary care)
Educate patients and families on treatment options, risks, and recovery expectations
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
