Requirements

  • Must be able to successfully obtain industrial truck and lift operating certification and safely maintain per company and OSHA standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively – verbally & written – to and work well with Team Members & Management.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and strong math skills are required.
  • Ability to read & interpret written & verbal direction while working in a safe, effective & productive manner within a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Practices integrity, respect, accountability, continuous improvement and positive interactions with all Team Members and visitors.
  • Records all information as required.
  • Weighs ingredients for mixing process.
  • Rolls or pushes ingredient drums and pallets to weigh and prepare for each batch according to schedule and specifications.
  • Reads scales and performs arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately.
  • Operates HMI’s (computer panel controls) to regulate and control bulk ingredients and pumping flows.
  • Maintains standard production quantities/rates for each product.
  • Cleans and rinses equipment according to specified procedures.
  • Monitors equipment to detect malfunctions; makes minor adjustments/repairs; communicates mechanical problems to maintenance.
  • Mounts supplies on spindles or places supplies in hoppers or other feeding devices.
  • Coordinates information and equipment with prior and next shifts Leads and other dept.
  • Fills in for and assists other departments when necessary.
  • Regular Attendance is required in accordance with Company attendance policy and procedures.
  • Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Lead and Management.
  • Complete initial/annual training to ensure the individual is properly qualified (QI) to perform all required job tasks as outlined in training programs/records.
