About The Position
The Speech Therapist will work in a rehab setting, focusing on acute Modified Barium Swallow Studies and potentially involving outpatient referrals. The position requires proficiency in MBS studies without radiologist supervision and involves both computerized and paper documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SNF level or Rehab hospital
- Valid Hawaii Speech Therapist License and BLS certification
- Acute care experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently
- Provide therapy services in rehab and acute settings
- Float to other facilities as needed
