About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate part-time and per diem Speech Therapists to join our team at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and committed to making a positive impact, we want to hear from you! Weekly pay! Monday-Friday opening. Up to $55 an hour. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy
- Current licensure by the applicable state agency
- Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds
- Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in long-term care preferred
- CEU's per state licensure requirements
Responsibilities
- Screens patients/residents
- Evaluates patients/residents and develops appropriate care plans
- Provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care
- Consults with and trains patients/residents and caregivers
- Monitors efficiencies and documents activities according to our clinical documentation system
- Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
