Per diem Speech Therapist (SLP)
About The Position
MVH is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to join the rehab team at their Augusta facility. MVH is the first nursing facility in Maine to embrace the Small House Model design. It is a 108-bed skilled nursing home with all private rooms and on-suite full bathrooms. There is also a 30-bed residential care neighborhood for those in the early stages of dementia. MVH is proud to serve the nation's Veterans and provide excellent care to maximize their abilities. The SLP evaluates and treats residents; communicates with residents, families, physicians, and other health team members; maintains documentation of services in the EMR; and conducts in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and MVH policies and procedures. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited SLP program
- Possesses a minimum of a Master’s Degree in SLP
- Must have current State of Maine licensure as a SLP

- Experience in long-term care environment preferred
