About The Position

We're currently seeking a personable and motivated Speech Language Pathologist SLP to join our growing team. You’ll work 1:1 with adult and geriatric patients in the comfort of their homes—helping them reclaim communication, swallowing function, and confidence in their daily lives. Concordia Home Health and Hospice of Bethlen is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time position, to care for home bound patients in Ligonier Valley. Requirements

  • Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in (PA)
  • ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
  • 1+ years of experience (home health a plus but not required—we’ll train the right candidate!)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled speech therapy services to patients in their homes
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Evaluate speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies
  • Collaborate with nurses, PT/OTs, and physicians to ensure the best outcomes
