Requirements
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of Washington
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering resident-centered, compassionate care
Nice To Haves
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional outcomes
- Provide skilled therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and progress
