About The Position
The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA) is a 50 year old home health agency that is growing and looking to hire Speech Therapists in Okeechobee County. As a Speech Therapist you will ensure delivery of quality speech therapy services and provide case management for patients through comprehensive assessments and coordination of agency services. You will work with family members and local healthcare professionals to implement services to meet the needs of patients and families in their homes. You will be responsible for completing physical assessments and determine any patient home care needs while working with the care team for each patient while using VNA of Florida's case management model.
Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of quality speech therapy services
- Provide case management for patients through comprehensive assessments and coordination of agency services
- Work with family members and local healthcare professionals to implement services to meet the needs of patients and families in their homes
- Complete physical assessments and determine any patient home care needs
