About The Position
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You’ll collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, individualized therapy services. Patewood Post Acute is a beautiful 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in the heart of the Greenville Metro. Requirements
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to resident-centered care and professional growth
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience in a long-term care or rehab setting preferred
- Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy for speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia
- Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and care team members
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning
- Contribute to a positive rehab team culture and outcomes-focused care
